A pseudo cenobite created by Pinhead after the Boiler Room massacre. This cenobite only appeared in Hellraiser: Hell on Earth and the comic adapted version.

Description

Appearance

The Barbie cenobite is, like most other cenobites, bald. He has barbed wire all along his face which appears to blind him. He also has few metal pieces on his chest stretching to the opposite side. In his breath is fire which he uses as a weapon with the gasoline he always carries.

History

As a Human

Rick Bloodstone was the bartender of the Boiler Room and was very close to the young owner, JP. He was known to be very friendly as he showed Joey the way to the dining area to find JP. He also told jokes to customers, many of them involving fire. When Pinhead slaughtered everyone in the Boiler Room he turned Rick into a pseudo cenobite with an ability to spit fire.

As a Cenobite

The Barbie cenobite didn't show up until just before the police came, while CD, and Camerahead were chasing Joey. He burst through a wall and went after Joey with CD and Camerahead. Once the police arrived, Barbie set fire to all the police officers after throwing his can of gasoline at them. Then he continued on with CD, and Camerahead to the construction site. Barbie, CD, Camerahead, Dreamer, and Pistonhead preceeded to "play" with Joey while Pinhead looked on. Joey unlocked the box soon afterwards and Barbie along with the other pseudo cenobites were sent to Hell while Pinhead played with Joey a little while longer. Barbie was the first to be sent to hell. He never appears again and therefore, his fate is unknown. It can be assumed that he was made into a "true" cenobite by Leviathan after entering hell.

Trivia

The Barbie cenobite can use fire as a weapon, which relates to all the fire related jokes Rick Bloodstone did for his customers.
Barbie/Rick was portrayed by Peter Atkins, who also wrote the film along with Hellbound: Hellraiser II and Hellraiser IV: Bloodline. The last name Atkins is the name of another cenobite in the comic book series, possibly being named after Peter Atkins.
He is blind and mute, traits shared with most other cenobites. Despite being blind, he seems to be able to get around easily as if he could see. The reason for this is unknown.
